Dr. Laura Harrison, BAH, BSc DVM
Before embarking on a career in veterinary medicine, Laura obtained a BAH in English Literature at Queen’s University and a BSc at Trent University. She then went to the Ontario Veterinary College for her DVM. Laura worked in companion animal practice for 4 years before transitioning to a career in industry with Merck Animal Health. She is the National Technical Lead for Companion Animal Parasiticides, supporting the sales team, marketing, and developing her own knowledge base with continuing education in parasitology and animal welfare. She moved to the hills of Grey County recently with her spouse and pandemic rescue beagle cross, Lenny.
